One of Oakville's oldest homes, built in 1837 — stripped back to its bones and reimagined from the ground up. Every element of this heritage residence was reconsidered: architecture, interiors, materials, details. Height and space restrictions made the material selections all the more important, and the response was a palette of exceptional consistency — maple wood, white natural stone, cool grey tones, and varying blues running throughout the home from room to room. The bathroom is in a category of its own: natural marble, yellow cedar, and a corten iron vanity that brings a zen stillness to a space that earns the word spa without hesitation.
